Fifteenth Week: Unforgettable Moment at Baleno

Image
This week, I had an unforgettable adventure celebrating Joveler’s 18th birthday! It all started when I decided to join the party in Baleno without asking for permission from my parents. I knew I was taking a risk, but I couldn’t miss out on the fun. I messaged Joveler to wish her a happy birthday, and her Tita invited me to be part of the 18 Roses. It felt so special to be included in such a big moment for her.      When I arrived, I felt so happy to be there, surrounded by friends and celebrating with Joveler. We had a great time, laughing, eating, and even sharing a little drink to mark the occasion. I also get to see her and it just made my day. Seeing her  made the feeling of missing her disappear. The fun didn’t stop there. Later on, we all went to sleep, still giggling and chatting until we couldn’t keep our eyes open. But there was a creepy moment when we were in the bathroom—the lights turned on by themselves! It gave us all chills, and we...

Fourteenth Week: Intrams Prep and Birthday Cheers

Image
This week was full of excitement and energy as we prepared for the upcoming Intrams Field Demo! It all started with practicing dance steps with my classmates. We worked together, learning and perfecting every move. There were lots of laughs, and sometimes we stumbled, but we didn’t give up. We helped each other, cheering each other on as we practiced over and over until we felt confident. Every time we got a move right, we celebrated, knowing that all our hard work would pay off when we performed.      Along with the dance practice, we also had to come up with a yell for the whole Grade 12 class. It was so much fun to be creative and come up with something that would get everyone pumped up and excited for the event. We wanted a yell that would bring all the Grade 12 students together, something that would make us feel proud and united. It took a lot of brainstorming, but in the end, we had a yell that was full of energy and spirit. ...

Thirteenth Week: A Week with Typhoon Krisitne

This week didn’t go as expected, thanks to Typhoon Kristine, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable weeks ever. With classes on hold because of the storm, my friends and I decided to make the best of it by staying at a friend’s apartment. Without alarms ringing and no schoolwork to worry about, we had the perfect chance to relax and just enjoy each other’s company.      We spent the day watching movies, wrapping ourselves in blankets, and listening to the sound of the rain outside. Even though the power and water went out a few times, it didn’t bother us at all. In fact, it made everything feel more cozy and peaceful. We decided to cook some comforting food—pansit and champorado. The smell filled the apartment, and we had so much fun tasting the food, adding little things here and there until it was perfect. It wasn’t just about the food, though—it was the laughter, the shared moments, and the feeling of being together in a quiet world....

Twelveth Week: Celebration and Teamwork

Image
This week was full of exciting moments! It started with celebrating  Shaina's 18th birthday. I went to my friend's birthday party at Angel’s Pizza. The food smelled so good, and I couldn’t wait to eat! We had lots of pizza, pasta, and yummy food. We sat together, laughed, and took pictures to remember the fun. Everyone was happy, and it felt great to be with my friends.      After dinner, we went for a walk to Magallanes Coliseum. The night was cool, and the city lights made everything look so pretty. We talked and laughed, making silly jokes and having fun. It was a perfect night, and when it was time to go home, we kept talking about all the fun we had. It was a special birthday celebration that I’ll always remember.      The very next day, something just as exciting happened! My group and I had to do a performance where we introduced J.K. Rowling with a speech choir. We were a little nervous, but we practiced really h...

Eleventh Week: Hard Work, Growth, and Proud Moments

Image
The highlight of my week was the moment I truly stopped to reflect on everything I’ve accomplished. It wasn’t just about receiving honors or getting good grades—it was about acknowledging how much effort, hard work, and determination it took to get here. I’ve always been focused on pushing myself to do my best, but this week, I took the time to really see how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown. And honestly, I couldn’t be prouder of myself.      There were so many days when I felt like giving up. There were nights I stayed up late studying, wondering if I was good enough, and moments when I felt like the weight of all my responsibilities was too much to carry. But through it all, I kept going. Even when it felt hard, I didn’t give up on my dreams or on myself. And now, seeing my name on the honors list feels like more than just an award—it feels like a reminder that hard work really does pay off.       I’ve learned so much about ...

Tenth Week: Concert, Hip Hop and Teacher's Day

Image
This week was one of the most exciting weeks I’ve had in a long time! It all started with the Nobita concert, which was part of our city’s anniversary celebration. My friends and I were so excited to go! We couldn’t wait to hear our favorite band sing live. But the best part? My cousin showed up, and that made everything even better! I joined them and we went to McDonald's before the concert and had so much fun eating together. I had my favorite meal, and we laughed and talked about everything, from school to silly jokes.        After eating, we went to the concert. It was so crowded, and there were so many people, but we found a great spot close to the stage! I couldn’t believe it—we were so close that I could see Nobita clearly! They were right there in front of us, singing and dancing with all their energy. It felt like we were in a dream. I kept thinking, "Wow, I can’t believe I’m seeing him up close like this!"  I was so happy that ...

Ninth Week: Surviving Midterms, Activities and Heartbreak

This week has been a whirlwind, to say the least. Midterms are here, and the pressure is on. But what makes it even harder is being part of a group project where I seem to be the "only" one doing the work. I kept telling myself, It’s okay, we’ll get through this together , but “together” quickly turned into “just me.”        Our group was supposed to collaborate on a major project. Everyone had their roles assigned, and I was optimistic at first. But as the days passed, their excuses piled up—"I’m busy," "I’ll do it later," "You’re better at this." Eventually, it was just me staring at a blank document, trying to piece together what was supposed to be a collective effort.        I stayed up late for nights in a row, thinking, writing, creating and editing our poems. It was exhausting, but I knew I had to finish it because failing wasn’t an option. And yet, the hardest part wasn’t the workload—it was feeling like I was...
