Fourteenth Week: Intrams Prep and Birthday Cheers
This week was full of excitement and energy as we prepared for the upcoming Intrams Field Demo! It all started with practicing dance steps with my classmates. We worked together, learning and perfecting every move. There were lots of laughs, and sometimes we stumbled, but we didn’t give up. We helped each other, cheering each other on as we practiced over and over until we felt confident. Every time we got a move right, we celebrated, knowing that all our hard work would pay off when we performed.
Along with the dance practice, we also had to come up with a yell for the whole Grade 12 class. It was so much fun to be creative and come up with something that would get everyone pumped up and excited for the event. We wanted a yell that would bring all the Grade 12 students together, something that would make us feel proud and united. It took a lot of brainstorming, but in the end, we had a yell that was full of energy and spirit.
The next day, after all the practice and preparation, I took a break to celebrate my friend’s birthday! I made sure to wish her the happiest birthday with a big smile. It was nice to slow down and enjoy a moment of friendship after all the hard work. We didn’t do anything too big, but just spending time with her, laughing and chatting, made her day even more special.
This week was a mix of hard work, fun moments, and celebrating the people who matter. From practicing dance moves for the field demo to coming up with a school yell, and finishing off with a birthday celebration, it was a week full of teamwork, creativity, and friendship. I can’t wait to see everything come together at the Intrams!
